the hotel was super clean and the decorations were all festive for the holidays! the food was amazing, especially the haggis burger, it was the best! staff were really friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. the room had a nice comfy vibe, and the heaters worked great since it was cold outside. parking was easy and it was just a quick walk to the town center.
the shower was a bit tricky to use, and i recommend bringing aqua shoes because the tubs were kinda slippery.

The temperature control in some areas was quite the dilemma!!! The cleaning of carpets in high-traffic areas could certainly use more attention to make a better first impression!!!

the tv had very few channels to choose from. also, it would have been nice to have a lift since it was an old building.

The evening meal at The Craigie? Utterly smashing! The haggis burger was legendary, a true taste of Scotland! Breakfast options had me buzzing—made to order, piping hot. Plus, the cozy vibes in the restaurant were just perfect!
Only thing that put a wee damper was the heat—rads went full blast. Still, who needs a cool temp when you're served such delightful dishes!

This hotel is a charming gem with beautifully decorated rooms and extremely comfortable beds. The shower in the bathroom was top-notch, and we loved the variety provided during breakfast. The staff were attentive and quick to respond to requests. managing heavy luggage up the stairs was a bit awkward due to the lack of lifts.
